Research Facilitator

This is a tremendous opportunity to work for an organisation at the cutting edge of the Treaty settlement process.  The Crown Forestry Rental Trust (CFRT) works to facilitate and expedite the settlement of Treaty of Waitangi claims that involve Crown Forest Licensed Lands.  In this important role as Research Facilitator, you will work with the Research Group and Maori to develop and implement research programmes.  The focus of the Research Group is to ensure that research programmes are planned, scoped and implemented with Maori communities.

You are a tertiary qualified graduate in History, Maori Studies or Anthropology.  Your sense of humour, excellent written and oral communication skills, and, ideally, research experience in the Treaty sector will assist you to achieve the goals of CFRT.

You will also have knowledge, experience and skills in:
• Facilitation
• Planning
• Project Monitoring
• Relationship Management
